Hip hop is definitely in a state of disarray today after the loss of UGK rap legend Pimp C. This tragedy immediately made me think of some of our other soldiers that have lost their life while striving to make hip hop it's finest! Not all were murders, but the tragedy still remains! If you really look, most of these stars were either at the prime of their careers, or soon to see higher heights in this game. Take today to think about how we can uplift our hip hop community so that we don't continue to suddenly lose all of our heroes that work so hard to prove that hip hop isn't dead. Rest in peace Pimp C & may your family and friends find ease in your rest!
