Sony Ceases Distribution of B'Day Re-Release

GO AND GET THE CURRENT B'DAY RE-RELEASE DELUXE EDITION WHILE YOU CAN BECAUSE IT IS SURE TO BE A COLLECTOR'S ITEM!
In light of the pending lawsuit over her cover of Des'ree's "I'm Kissing You" (originally featured in the movie "Romeo & Juliet," starring Leonardo DiCaprio) on her B'Day - Deluxe Edition album and video anthology, the singer and her label have agreed to stop distributing the albums and DVDs that include the song.
This most likely means that new printings of the Deluxe Edition will NOT have the "Still In Love (Kissing You)" video included. The whole song may be removed from the re-released album as well. On March 5, Des'ree's lawyers submitted a counter proposal in which they granted permission for use of the song, but within certain limits. They allowed use of the song, but not in video form and only if the title ("I'm Kissing You") were not changed.
