Fantasia is known for bringing the party to the A, and this weekend she really showed out for her best friend Lauren's (and her boy Cordell's) birthday. I'm learning that ain't no party like a 'Tasia party!!! They shut the M Bar down, and most folks didn't even know she was in the back partying it up; she did make her way to the front to request some songs...she lost it to "Ain't I" when a special somebody's verse came on (even though rumors are circulating of a recent break up). Shout out to celebrity photographer Romeo for holding it down!!!!

Wow! What an ACTION-PACKED PLAYLIST!!!! There are so many HOT SONGS here, that you really just want to click PLAY and let it be the soundtrack for your weekend! My partner J.Write would be mad if I didn't mention to pay special close attention to the new T-Pain ft Ludacris, "Chopped & Screwed!" Alicia Keys is in the lineup with Jack White as they recorded the newest James Bond theme. Mary J. Blige jumps on a track with Musiq Soulchild, Kanye re-releases "Love Lockdown," and vocal powerhouses and American Idol alums Jennifer Hudson and Fantasia are on the SAME TRACK! These are just SOME of the HITS in this list. JUST PRESS PLAY!!! Have a great weekend!

For those of you that don't know, "I'm Here" is a song performed by the character Celie in The Color Purple. After a very successful run, Fantasia left the production late last year.

SPECIAL THANKS TO SOHH.COM and GYANT

Fantasia performing "I Am Here" at the 2007 Tony Awards:

Fantasia finally hit the stage this week in the legendary broadwayd play, 'The Color Purple." Reviews note that her performance was breathtaking. The melodic powerhouse was personally chosen by Oprah herself for this starring role in the play. A few weeks back, she performed the original piece "I'm Here" on both American Idol and the Oprah Winfrey Show. This is a performance you do not want to miss. For more info on the play, and its cast, watch ET Tonight where Fantasia will give an exclusive interview.
