Well, well, well....Look who we've caught up with. In a recent interview, Bri'Son was able to sit down and talk with the saint of reality TV shows from "I Love New York" - Kevin "Bonez" John. Bonez tells us all from his real feelings about New York to how he even ended up in the house in the first place. Read the full-length interview for information you won't find anywhere else...

Where are you from?
I’m from Stockton, CA up by Sacramento. It’s actually 400 miles north of Los Angeles.

Tell me a little about your career and how you got started.
Well I graduated from Morehouse College in 2004. After that, I was just like I gotta make it happen. I moved to L.A. with nothing but a bag, a suitcase, a razor, ½ stick of deodorant and said I’ma make it happen. The first month I was in L.A., I was homeless – well not living on the streets, even though I did sleep in my car a couple of nights, but staying with friends I had in the area. I didn’t research the cost of living or anything like that, I just moved so it was hard. Eventually, I found a piece of crap apartment and just started getting gigs. I was cast on a Korean TV series (similar to the American Desperate Housewives series), found an agent, started doing stand up comedy, joined a troupe, and acted in several plays.

What made you even decide to audition for the “I Love New York” show?
I was actually called about the show. I went in for an interview and my cheeks were swollen ‘cause I had just come from the dentist so I looked crazy. Two months later, I gotta call from the show saying they wanted me to come back. I didn’t really know the premises of the show at the time and I had just been cast in a tour that was in Oakland. Both shows would be running at the same time so I had to choose which one I was going to do. I was skeptical when I learned it was a reality show ‘cause I wanted to be taken serious in my career and you know once people see you on reality TV, they don’t always take you serious after that. But I just prayed about it, and I ended up doing the show.
