Atlanta STAND UP for A-Town's own Young Jeezy, who pulled in the #1 selling CD for the week. The Recession has been getting excellent reviews, so make sure if you don't alreay have it, go out and contribute to him staying on top of the charts this week.

Jeezy is infamous for bringing out the hottest of the hot during his Birthday Bash set (think back to last year when he brought out Jigga); and this year is no different. Not only did he kill it with Usher, he brought out Kanye to Put On for His City!!!! Peep the footage..do I heat Mr. Lo -Lo himself coming to the stage; yup coming down from the ceiling!!! Keep it locked!

It always goes down super BIG at Hot 107.9's Birthday Bash!!! Hopefully you've already purchased a ticket to this sold out event to see artists like TI, Shawty Lo, The Dream, Soulja Boy, Young Jeezy and more kill it on stage; and don't sleep on the special guests, I know B'Day Bash always brings em out!!! Stay tuned to BRiSON for the best and the worst of Birthday Bash 13.

So today's the day! Mariah Carey is back and poised to conquer one of the most celebrated achievements in our time - more #1 singles than the Beatles, who have 20. She has already passed Elvis Presley's record of 18 which is amazing in and of itself. I think Mariah may not be topping what she is already done from an artistic standpoint, but why not stay the course when it is leading you to the history books? Mariah can break new ground on the next album. I will be there to ensure she will! My favorite song right now is certainly "Side Effects" featuring Young Jeezy.

Make sure you check out these tracks, I have included the tracklisting, as

Saturday was a very busy day for BRiSON & the rest of the A. We couldn't make Big Tigger's events, nor could we get tothe finale party for the infamous Club 112, but we were on deck for Boost Mobile Rock Corps' 2nd annual Gotta Give 2 Get concert series at the Fox Theater. This concert isn't the only concert where American currency isn't even good enough to buy a ticket, but it is the only concert that still makes you earn the right to attend. In order to step foot in the door you must first offer four hours of your time completing community service at one of the many projects held by BMRC around the city; projects include painting, gardening, and other duties that are always needed at various shelters, food pantries, and community centers around the US. Participants had to log on to www.boostmobilerockcorps.com and select the service project of their choice, once the service was complete each participant recieved one ticket to one of the only concerts that who's purpose is way bigger than mere entertainment. Performers included Rich Boy featuring Keri Hilson (of The Clutch), Rick Ross, Huey, Eve, Lil' Wayne, and Busta Rhymes; headlining the show for the 2nd year was Atlanta's own Young Jeezy. If you missed the opportunity to get out there and lend a hand, log onto the BMRC website and get involved in a surrounding state; it's well worth the experience!

Stay posted to BRiSON throughout the week for interviews and footage from the BMRC media room!!!

POSER OR NOT?

One artist wasn't named on A-Town's BMRC concert's roster, I'm not even sure he was confirmed to perform...it was very obvious he wasn't there for any positive publicity, as he was a little camera shy before the show. Can you guess the face behind (or really in front) of the faceless rapper??? Maybe all of the recent Atlanta features gave it away...POSER

Yo, just a lil somethin funny for your weekend! Young Jeezy, Game, and Lil Wayne all get parodied in this funny animated clip from Broken Equipment Productions. Have a great weekend!

And again it's on! Boost Mobile & RockCorps is teaming up again for what was one of last summer's hottest concerts...and it was a series! City to city various artists graced the stage for 1000's of fans to give a free concert. Well it wasn't exactly free; I mean you couldn't buy tickets, it wasn't that type of party. To get into this concert, you had to lend 4 hours of your time perfoming community service in one of the many chosen spots throughout the cities.
