After last night’s American Idol, many fans are left thinking, “Is LaKisha the next to go?” We’ve heard Ms. Jordan woo us away with her rendition of “Diamonds are Forever” and “Midnight Train to Georgia” but will her beautiful voice and sexy looks be enough to sail her through to the next round? Last night, judges were not so moved by LaKisha’s remake of “I Believe” a song originally written by ex-Idol Tamyra Gray, but performed and recorded by Idol winner Fantasia Barrino. While the judges admitted that it must be difficult to sing a Fantasia song, they still kept no secrets about how they truly felt about last night’s performance. So will LaKisha Jordan be the next to join Sanjaya? I know a multitude of Americans that are hoping and praying for the exact opposite; I guess we will all have to tune in tonight to see…or you can just tune back in to Bri’Son for a catch-up.
