Jazmine Sullivan's album is surely shaping up to be a blockbuster of a collection! Her music is soulful a la Lauryn Hill and she is certainly filling a big void left by the legend. Here is a new track from her entitled "Lions, Tigers, & Bears." It is my personal favorite of what I have heard so far. Look for her debut album, entitled "Fearless" to be in stores very soon. Taken from Jazmine Sullivan's MYSPACE: "The quirky, unusually-titled 'Lions, Tigers & Bears' (also produced by Salaam Remi who employed a full orchestra for the session) conjures up a world of images. It was inspired by Jazmine’s portrayal of Dorothy in “The Wiz” during her childhood. “My life has been all about music for such a long time that the thought of love was frightening. I knew the world of music but that other world of love was scary, new to me. It’s really about being afraid of love.” As we approach the album release date, look for a collective post devoted to Ms. Jazzy!
