SOURCES CONFiRM JAY-Z AND BEYONCE ARE MARRiED! WE ARE GOiNG TO GREENSBORO TO FiND OUT!
Various sources including People Magazine and US Magazine as well as Concreteloop.com and AllHipHop.com are reporting Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter and Beyonce Knowles hosted an extravagant affair for their closest friends and family yesterday, April 4, and are now a married couple.
There have yet to be any official confirmations as to the entertainer's marital status.
Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Solange Knowles, Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Chris Martin of Coldplay, Beyonce’ parents and Jay-Z’s mother all attended the super-exclusive affair and reception. No one was allowed to enter with cameras or cellphones.
Movers ushered dozens of white orchids, candles and furniture into Jay-Z’s Tribeca home earlier in the day and most guests seen were wearing white. Pictures confirming this can be found on the internet.
US magazine reported that a preacher entered Jay-Z’s building about 8 pm. Other reports have stated, without corroboration, that the pair will have another ceremony on May 4.
A chauffeur told eonline.com that "definitely a wedding," but didn’t say who or where that wedding was.
Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige appeared on the "Late Show With David Letterman" Friday evening and did not mention any of this.
Jay-Z and Mary are slated to continue their tour in Greensboro, NC April 5 for the “Heart of the City” tour. BRiSON Entertainment will be in Greensboro tonight to get you footage and, hopefully, an official report!
On April Fools Day (April 1, 2008), the pair applied for a marriage license in Scarsdale, New York. The license is valid for 60 days.
