The verdict is out, and according to PageSix.com, Jay Z is definitely leaving Def Jam due to the loot. Jigga reportedly makes more money as an artist than he does as an executive, so he will continue as an ex-retired artist. Speculations have also surfaced that Jay-Z might have left been jumping the Def Jam ship to follow the love of his life, and take over at Columbia Records, but that has yet to be confirmed by either party. Either way, Jay will definitely be taking his entrepreneurship to the next level by opening up at least 5 more 40/40 Clubs nationwide, including cities like Houston, Chicago, and even London.
