Will Smith's "I Am Legend," is officially a blockbuster. Smith's portrayal of a scientist trying to find a cure whiile fighting off the vestiges of humanity - people transformed by a viral plague into vampire-like creatures - broke the box office record for a December movie, beating out previous title holder 2003's "The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King" with a $76.5 million dollar debut. I saw this movie and it was nothing short of amazing. The fact that Mr. Smith can hold your attention all by himself for the majority of the movie speaks to the compelling plot and Oscar-worthy acting by one of Hollywood's best. Make sure you see this film!
