I received an email last week about possible Hip Hop stars that are being targeted by the feds, and you know how it goes, somebody gets a lead and they swear by it, but there's no real proof behind the supposed facts. Well it looks like the rumors aren't that far off. Bryan "Birdman" Williams, also know as "Baby", or Lil' Wayne's daddy, was arrested last night in Kingston, Tennessee after an officer saw the RV he was in driving recklessly (forced a tractor trailer into the emergency lane). The officer claims that the "weed" smell was so potent that he knew what time it was...must've been that purp huh? LOL Either way, the folks found over a pound of that goodie in a trashcan in the rented RV. Birdman was one of 16 arrested including his wife Brittany, 18, and his brother, Ronald Williams, 43, were each charged with possession of more than 1/2 ounce of marijuana as were 13 others, several of whom are also affiliated with the rap industry. Among those arrested were road manager Shahid Muhammad, 40, Cash Money Records promoter Casey Collins, 42, and music promoter Ovide Antoine, 32, of Miami, Fla. They were supposedly driving from New Orleans to New York for a BET shoot. All 16 remained jailed late Tuesday night.
