It seems like just yesterday everybody patiently sat in front of their tv screens awaiting the news of whether or not rapper Tupac Shakur would pull through from yet another shooting. Tupac was infamous for escaping death, but not this time. Well it wasn;t just yesterday, it was 11 whole years ago today! I have to admit, I was one of the numbers who just knew Pac was reliving the Makaveli tale, and would pop up 7 years later. Unfortunately, it doesn;t seem like we were correct, but today is defintely a day that everybody should be riding to ALL EYEZ ON ME, ME AGAINST THE WORLD, MAKAVELI, or any other of Tupac's great CDs, or even better, check out one of his flicks like POETIC JUSTICE or JUICE.
If you're anywhere near ATL, make sure you take some time out to visit the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts, they are definitely doing BIG thigs over there to celebrate Tupac's legacy.
