106th and Park has been quite star-studded this week, with the likes of Eve, Keisha Cole, Plies, T-Pain, 50 Cent, Kanye West and more stopping through to show love. I know everybody’s thinking…well that’s the norm for 106, but this week a few of the stars showed up with some aggression to air out! Viva la 50 Cent and Kanye West. 50 appeared on the show 1st, of course doing a little pre-press for his new album which is dropping on September 11th, but also to challenge Kanye to a 106 and Park battle on that same day; Kanye’s album is also slated to drop on 9/11. West dropped by 106 yesterday, not only to accept 50’s challenge, but to also clear the air. West’s position was, “every rapper should want to drop on the same day as 50…”. Maybe Kanye is learning how to properly respond in front of an audience, or maybe he’s going a little soft on this one; either way, it sure doesn’t sound like Kanye wants beef (for once)…even though we ALL know 50 couldn’t see Kanye lyrically with bifocals and contacts.
