Jay-Z in negotions to make jump to Columbia from Island Def Jam

According to AllHipHop.com and the New York Daily News, Jay-Z and his girlfriend Beyonce are in talks to form a digital record label with Apple's iTunes.
Jay is also in talks with Columbia Records to jump ship from Island Def Jam to join Rick Rubin and his stable. He collaborated successfully with Runin on the Black Album's "99 Problems."
Beyonce is also signed to Columbia.
Rubin has reportedly been shaking up his A&R Department there and naturally wants Jay on his side while Mr. Carter is reportedly unhappy with L.A. Reid bringing in Jermain Dupri as President of Island's Urban Music Division, feeling there isn't room for "two cheifs."
