Akon's Sorry...Blame It On Him

Now everybody knows that in the past I have not been the biggest KONVICT supporter. It’s not that I don’t like Akon, T-Pain, and crew, I just haven’t always been convinced, but as of recently, I have had nothing but the best to say about the entire camp. This story will read no differently. Akon is again in the news, but this time shining in a more positive light. It’s no secret about the 14 year old girl, nor about the little boy he supposedly threw in the crowd, but what most people found peculiar was the fact that Akon himself hadn’t released much of a statement in regards to his actions; well all of that changed recently when Devyne Stephens, CEO of Konvict Records personally dropped off Akon’s form of a statement at one of the local Atlanta radio stations yesterday afternoon. Akon’s statement came in the form of a song (in which I actually like). Take a second and listen to Sorry, Blame it on Me, and let us know what you think. Akon definitely takes time to apologize for more than just his recent activities, but what I like is that while media, the club’s and even Verizon wants to point the finger at Akon solely, he keeps it 100 and accepts EVERYBODY’S responsibility, even though he’s not 100 percent to blame; way to MAN UP AKON!!! You definitely just won another fan (as if he were hurting for any).

On another note of praise for the Konvict crew: T-Pain's album EPIPHANY showed up #1 on Billboard's Hot 200 albums chart, beating out Rhianna's GOOD GIRL GONE BAD...I guess we can say 'shawty still snappin'!!!)
