Today is the birthday of the late James Brown, otherwise referred to as “The Godfather of Soul”, or “The Hardest Working Man in Show Business”. Brown was born on May 3, 1933 in South Carolina, but lived most of his life in Augusta, Georgia. We lost James Brown last Christmas; he would have been 74 today! Everybody should take a moment to “get on the good foot” and do a birthday dance for the man who made it cool to be “Black and Proud”. Happy Birthday James Brown!!!
