Timbaland Holds At #1 On The Hot 100
Timbaland's "Give It to Me" featuring Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake begins another week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, fending off Akon's "Don't Matter," which is #2 for a second week. Fergie's "Glamorous" featuring Ludacris stands at #4, while Gwen Stefani's "The Sweet Escape" featuring Akon drops to #5 and Mims' "This Is Why I'm Hot" moves to #6.
T-Pain's "Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin')" featuring Yung Joc is at #7 and is the chart's greatest gainer in digital sales and airplay, the 1st song to earn that double award since Beyonce's "Irreplaceable" in December. Another B'Day track, "Beautiful Liar" with Shakira, is up to #8 this week, and Diddy's "Last Night" featuring Keyshia Cole is at #10.
Robin Thicke is #1 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for a tenth week in a row with "Lost Without U." The T-Pain song is the greatest airplay gainer on the tally but holds at #4. Elsewhere on the chart, Eve's "Tambourine" debuts at No. 73. It's the lead-off single from her 1st album in 5 years, Here I Am, due Aug. 7 from Geffen.
