Luther Vandross would have turned 57 today. It is unfortunate that a man of Luther's caliber with 25 million records sold, countless billboard hits, hundreds of sold out concerts, and music that RESPECTS women and his fans can't be duplicated. Thank you for making music about LOVE, Luther. Luther died July 1, 2005 at the John F. Kennedy Medical Center and, to date, his cause of death has never been released.
****CORRECTION: I just looked at the website…Luther Vandross was born on April 20, 1951. He is a 420 baby, not 424. I was going to blog that last week, but it slipped my mind. You know I always hear the b’day roll call on the radio. - Jason L. Dinsmore aka Mr. D.
