Romeo, a 5′11 All-American point guard at Beverly Hill High School, will put all of his film and TV roles on hold, while he attends USC and earns his degree in business administration. Romeo is currently completing work on his fourth album Gumbo Station, which is scheduled for release on May 22. His current single "Special Girl" featuring Marques Houston is has already dropped. His latest film project, the DVD Crush On U is in stores now. Romeo has also starred on the Nickelodeon series "Romeo!" for three years.

According to representatives for Romeo, he is is the first nationally known active Hip-Hop star to receive a full athletic scholarship.
