Jones Dazzles The Stage!

As contestants set the stage ablaze with hits from the 60’s with British Invasion night, one particular artist continued to mesmerize fans. Draped in what was said to be $1,000,000 worth of diamonds, LaKisha Jones sang Diamonds Are Forever from the James Bond film which shares its title.
Though her vocals and jewels were all shiny and shimmering, her reviews from judges Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell were the complete opposite. Randy felt that he just didn’t feel she added enough of her own twist to it while Simon bluntly stated that; “It was too old, too old fashion; I didn’t get it. Sorry!”
Wasn’t it snarling remarks like this one that forced 17-year old powerhouse Paris Bennett out of the competition last season leaving room for Taylor Hicks (who?) to win? Word to the wise: the judges DON’T know everything. Tune in tonight for the results. See if LaKisha’s performance pulled her through another Idol week.
