Since the conception of the Reality TV phenomenon, the average Joe – Construction worker has been introduced to personalities and talents that would otherwise only been prevalent in their communities. For example, the Real Housewives franchise has introduced us to Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin, Vicki Gunvalson and Jeana Keough, NeNe Leakes, and Kim Zolciak. These women have all become the “Hot Topics” in our daily conversations. This presence has also shown us that every fabulous woman has an even more fabulous association with men possessing great talents. This month, I was honored to interview the infamous Derek Jae of JSpot Salon and the amazingly talented Derek Blanks of Derek Blanks Photography, both of Atlanta, GA and features on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Since the show the two have been extremely busy building their respective brands but I was able to steal them for a few moments to delve into the minds of great and now influential forces in the industry. And for our readers that are not able to commissions such talents as Derek Jae and Derek Blanks, don’t fret, your holiday won't be all bad. Just think, even the lifestyles depicted each season has been drastically changed as a result of the economy. Several of the families had to downsize their homes and scale back on the illustrious shopping trips. In these current days of economic uncertainty, millions of families have to reorganize their lifestyles and make adjustments to spending. I believe that these moments of acquiring conscious and smart shopping patterns are not only bringing our materialistic society to their knees but also making take a bite of humble pie and realize the important factors of one’s life journey.

Good Morning! Long time no hear from people! Well, I HAD to give you some information about what happened on the Rickey Smiley Morning show here in Dallas this morning!! It all started when the entertainment segment of the show came on, its done by a rather flamboyant, likable fellow, and its called Gary with the T! ( that means gossip in gay circles.) None the less, they were speaking live with Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian's sister, and he asked her, " What do you think your Dad would say about the video that Kim put out if he was still alive?" HONEY, the next thing you know, this girl lost her cool!! She went on about how Gary disrespected her talking about her Daddy who has passed away. Huh? WTF are you talking about? Girl please!!! Now I understood exactly what he was asking, as did millions of listeners, why did she say the guy was disrespecting her deceased father? Well, simply to take the light off of the real question, " Why does NOBODY in your family think that Kim is a whore for doing this video?" She wanted the man to get off his own morning show, and threatened not to talk to anybody else unless he left! Is she crazy? America allows for freedom of speech, and this was just a simple question, to which the man did not say anything negative or derrogatory about their deceased father!! Money makes you think so much of yourself, even when its obvious NOBODY else does!Lol. Gary took the time to inform her that NOBODY would even have known who the hell they were had it not been for the video that Kim made, so she needed to calm down! All of which is VERY true!! Which goes to my questions for today. Do you think Gary was out of line for asking the question? Yes it is official: Beyoncé will release a double album November 18th entitled I AM... and will feature the tracks listed below. Ms. Knowles will use one of the dics to feature her alter-ego "Sasha Fierce."Rap-Up.com revealed yesterday that Beyoncé will also release a video anthology her new album in February similar to how she did with B'DAY. The singer will also re-release the new album I Am… in Spanish and has already begun rerecording!

You know we had to be one of the 1st to get you pics from Lil Wayne's latest single "Mrs. Officer" which features BE Magazine's October cover artist Bobby Valentino. This song is slightly responsible for Bobby V's emergence into hip hop (he's already an R&B legend), and is taking radio by storm. Here are a few pics from the upcoming video, which was shot in Miami.

According to Bobby V's publicist Tahira: The video was shot at the Miami Sea Aquarium on Biscayne Bay with a police officer theme. Bobby V played a flirtatious police officer arresting beautiful women, while Lil Wayne strummed his ever-present guitar on top of a police car. "Mrs. Officer" has proven to be a summer hit and the video will surely help the single regain momentum into the Fall.

BIG Ups to Lil Wayne for freaking his municipal situations (literally)...I get you every lady cop that has anything to do with pulling Weezy over is like D@MN (all while secretly saying, "whee-a-whee-a-whee")!!!!
